This video examines unboxing as a contemporary emotional substitute, where the performance of opening replaces genuine experience. The work suggests that the anticipation and ritual of revealing the object has become more important than the object itself. Consumption is no longer about need or even desire, but about the visual and emotional choreography of acquisition.
